Jharkhand government has decided to make
knowledge of at least one tribal language is
compulsory for government officials. Ho,
Mundari, Kurukh and Santhali are the main tribal
language of Jharkhand. Knowledge of one of these
four tribal language will be essential to get
promotion, increment and salary of the government
officials in Jharkhand.
